Good morning! VanCAF was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! By far, the best convention I have ever had the pleasure of attending! I'd like to take this opportunity to once again thank Shannon Campbell and her group of incredible volunteers for all their hard work in putting together this convention and making sure it ran smoothly. I cannot thank you enough, your dedication is astonishing and you all deserve a BIG hand!!! Here's to many more successful VanCAFs!

And so begins issue 6. Still didn't get that splash page done, it's not as easy as I thought it would be. Anyhoo, yeah. I like this page. In fact, I like all of the pages I've been drawing lately. Good times.

You should also be following my Tumblr if you're not already, because that's where I'm posting my unrelated artwork now. It'll be fun, trust me. :D

Here, have an update!

Oh no, colour doesn't usually signify good things in this story. D:

And with that, chapter 5 concludes. Be here next week for the start of chapter 6!

Forgot to mention that I will be doing sketches & selling prints, buttons and original artwork at 8th St. Books & Comics in Saskatoon (where I also work) this Saturday, May 5th - Free Comic Book Day, as you are no doubt aware! Sketches will be $10, with a portion of the proceeds going towards Saskatoon's Friendship Inn. You should also know that Saskatoon comics legend Tom Grummett will be there sketching as well! So please definitely come say hi if you're in the area!

FCBD is a fantastic fun-filled event each year. It's like a party where everyone's invited! Trust me! Head on over to FreeComicBookDay.com to take a gander at the free comics available this year. (You didn't ask, but I'm going to tell you: My top two picks for this year are Barnaby and The Censored Howard Cruse. All of them are fantastic though!)
