Today's page. Juuuust fine...

I should probably also explain a little bit about this page. When I was in high school I thought that drinking and smoking marijuana were the worst things a person could do. Never mind “everything in moderation” - nope, even one sip or one toke was grounds for eternal damnation.

Needless to say…I got over it. When I started drawing LSA I was going to touch on this a little bit, until I realized that I was pretty unique in this belief and not very many people were going to be able to relate to it. Even _I_ couldn’t relate to it any more. It also ended up not being all that important to the story.

Anyhow, just thought that needed to be said since it did sorta find its way into this page.

Today's page. I was afraid of dogs for many years. Didn't matter if they were super friendly - such as border collies, for example, which are probably the least threatening dogs ever.

(Supposedly, this all goes back to when I was a year old and went to daycare, and a large dog walked up to me and went "WOOF" right in my face. And he was just being friendly, but of course you don't realize that when you're a year old and the dog is bigger than you are...)

BIG news: I just found out that I received a Xeric grant (from the last ever grant review) to self-publish LSA as a graphic novel. D: I'm flabbergasted, actually. And so - fingers crossed - you will be able to pre-order the book sometime next year from your local comic shop! I'll try and make sure the ink smells fantastic.
